Inspired by a deep love of flowers, bees and butterflies, especially sunflowers, this painting is a celebration of colour and nature. The background is painted in different tones of yellows, purples, pinks and greens, while the flowers themselves are painted in yellows, pinks, purples, white, lilac, violet, orange, browns, black and gold using acrylic and metallic acrylic paints.

Dots on the flowers and butterfly were created using a dotting tool and acrylic paint pens for beautiful fine detail. To add an almost 3D effect, three wooden flowers, a bee and a butterfly have been added to the surface, making this a truly unique and tactile piece of art.
